During his visit to Samel 90 AD, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Innovation and Growth Tomislav Donchev, accompanied by Deputy Minister Martin Danovski, discussed with the CEO, Eng.Peter Georgiev discussed the possibilities for increased participation of Bulgarian industry in strategic defense projects. The conversation focused on the potential of domestic companies to be leaders in the production of radio jammers, tactical drones, and unmanned aerial vehicle counter-systems.

Samel 90 is a supplier of specialized equipment to over 30 countries, including Egypt, India, Bahrain, Nigeria, and others.More than 10 of them use the company's products to protect government officials.The technologies developed in Samokov are also used in humanitarian missions, police and military convoys.
Particular attention was paid at the meeting to the need for Bulgarian companies to be at the core of future large orders for the needs of the army, as they generate added value in the country through employment, taxes, and investments in development. The idea that Samel 90 should apply for an "Investor Class A" certificate was also supported, which would facilitate the implementation of new projects with high economic and technological impact.
