Ceramics based on alumina (Al2O3)
Al2O3 (corundum / ballistic) ceramic is used in the manufacture of body armor with protection levels III, III+ and IV according to NIJ 0108.01 (0101.04) and STANAG 2920. It is also used to protect vehicles with protection levels III and IV according to STANAG 4569. Samel-90 PLC is able to produce a variety of geometric shapes according to our customers' requirements.
